The amount of ink printed on the substrate, which is coming out of the press on average, is exactly equal to the amount of ink going into the press. It is independent of everything else. If it is variable going out, then it must be variable going in. Force it to be constant, on average for short periods of time, then it will be constant going out. <br /><br />Simple and repeatable and can be tested.
